PortAnnotate recruits annotators, evaluators and transcribers directly across 12 countries and 13 languages. Work is remote, paid by the hour, and scheduled around you. One profile carries across every project you apply to.
About the role
Someone has been fighting an AI product for twenty minutes and you are the first human they reach. How that conversation goes is the job.
A good share of the queue repeats, and we would rather say so up front. The part that does not repeat is the part that matters: noticing that five people this week hit the same wall, and writing it up clearly enough that an engineer can act on it without asking three follow-up questions.
Key responsibilities
- Answer inbound chat and email for AI products still in testing.
- Diagnose the actual problem before reaching for the knowledge base.
- Write defect reports an engineer can reproduce from.
- Spot repeat issues across tickets and escalate the pattern, not the ticket.
- Say plainly when something is broken and what is being done about it.

Frequently asked questions
What happens after I apply?
Your application opens at the screening stage. A reviewer checks your profile, languages and resume against the posting, and every stage appears on your application page as it moves.
What does "in review" mean?
Screening has been passed and a reviewer is assessing you against the specific requirements of the project. You will get a notification the moment that changes.
What does "accepted" mean?
You have been selected for the project. Onboarding details and the first assignment follow by email at the address on your account.
Why can I not apply to some postings?
Postings can be restricted to one country or one language. Where you do not qualify, the posting names the exact requirement you miss so you can fix your profile if it is out of date.
