View opportunityPortAnnotate recruits annotators, evaluators and transcribers directly across 12 countries and 13 languages. Work is remote, paid by the hour, and scheduled around you. One profile carries across every project you apply to.
A model is only ever as consistent as the people who taught it. That is the whole reason this role is careful rather than fast.
You apply structure to raw material: boxes drawn around objects, spans marked over entities, categories attached to records, relationships drawn between them. If two labellers read the same guideline and produce different output, the dataset is worse than no dataset, because nobody can tell which half to trust.
Applicants should be comfortable with most of the following:
Experience in one or more of the following is an advantage:
Every application goes through screening before a decision. You can follow each stage on your application page.
Compensation is based on tasks completed and project availability. Actual earnings vary with task volume and with the quality and productivity standards set for the programme.
This opportunity is offered on an independent contractor basis. Contributors choose when and how much they work, subject to project availability and quality requirements. It does not create an employment relationship with PortAnnotate.
Your application opens at the screening stage. A reviewer checks your profile, languages and resume against the posting, and every stage appears on your application page as it moves.
Screening has been passed and a reviewer is assessing you against the specific requirements of the project. You will get a notification the moment that changes.
You have been selected for the project. Onboarding details and the first assignment follow by email at the address on your account.
Postings can be restricted to one country or one language. Where you do not qualify, the posting names the exact requirement you miss so you can fix your profile if it is out of date.
